memorable wedding days

Sick and twisted right here. Poor Meredith can't can't a break even on his wedding day!!! It amazes me how trusting people are of strangers and new acquaintances!!! Smh??? This one had me in high anxiety and on the edge of my seat the whole way through. So many ruthless people with their own self-serving agendas!!! I'm still in shock!!! I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job bringing it to life.

Love this Series

I really enjoyed this book. I love the Meredith and Hodge characters and hope the brother will show up again in future books. The interaction between Meredith and Hodge is fun, as usual. The plot twists and turns and keeps you guessing all the way through, although I did figure out who the killer was by the end. Lee Beddow continues with his excellent narration. Love that lead in to the next book!

A surpirising hoiiday

Meredith and Hodge step in it once again. They can't even seem to take a relaxing holiday. MK Turner produced another outstanding novel with Family Matters. This book is a bit different than others in the series but just as twisted, humorous and incredible. As always the characters are well developed and even though the honeymoon period of their marriage isn't proceeding in the usual manner Hodge does an amazing job of keeping Meredith in line.....ummm...the jury is out on how he actually sees this piece. Lee Beddow continues to do a remarkable job of narrating and infusing life into MK Turner's engaging adventures.. If this is your first book in the series, I would suggest rather that you start with Misplaced Loyalty, which is book 1 in the series. Doing that allows you to fully understand the functionally dysfunctional way that this crew of characters get on with one and other and chase the bad folks too.

A new member of the Meredith family!

Another exciting adventure with Meredith (who I can now only think of as Gene Hunt aka Philip Glenister thanks to one of Marcia's newsletters😅) and Hodge. Nothing is ever straight forward for this couple, and with a new family member making an appearance there are plenty of twists and turns. A great listen and very nicely set up for the next in the series.

Is every family member worth saving?

Meredith is arrested on a very important day. There is real evidence that he has been up to no good. Surely he cannot explain this away. Once more M K Turner brings is us these amazing characters who feel so real, they are almost friends. Lee Beddow brings each character to life with his fantastic narration meaning you can identify every character by sound alone. They all feel like friends. I cannot wait for the next instalment.

Yay, they finally did it...

One of the best crime/mystery/police series for a long time this 8th Meredith & Hodge book once again had me hooked. Lots of mystery, intrigue and twists to keep the story jogging along. Meredith is his usual sarcastic self and Patsy is a good match for him. Glad they finally tied the knot.

As the story is set outside Meredith's usual location many of the regular characters are missing in all but brief mentions which is a shame as Peggy, Loopy & Sherlock etc are so much a part of the series. Hopefully they will all be back together in the next book.

Thoroughly enjoyable book with excellent narration.
