Publisher's Summary

Did you know ordinary people can be turned into demons? I sure as f--k didn’t. Until it happened to me.

One day, I was a regular college student, working a boring job and studying for finals - and the next, I was transformed into some strange creature of the night.

Now I’ve got powers I don’t understand, I can change my appearance with a thought, and I’m having all kinds of odd...cravings.

If I thought all this bullshit was gonna get me out of going to college though, I’ve got another think coming. Nope, I still need an education. Except the classes at Fallen University are on things like “Curses and Hexcraft” and “Magical Combat”.

It’s not all bad. There are these four hot as hell guys I keep bumping into - Kingston, Jayce, Xero, and Kai. I’m not sure if I should trust them; they’ve each got secrets of their own, and they’re definitely dangerous.

But that craving I’ve been having?

It’s pulling me right toward them.

Yup, things are about to get real interesting at FU.

Excellent story

I really enjoyed this story. Callie Rose was a new author for me and she did not disappoint. What would you do if you were turned into a demon against your will and given a choice to be sent to hell or school. I love Piper and that she stays positive and moves forward not obsessing on the past and what could have been. Fate plays tricks on all of us sometimes but Piper gets quite the hand dealt to her. I loved that for most of her harem this wasn’t insta love. I also love the characters in this book and how well Callie portrays their inner struggles. This had an excellent narration by Lia Holland. Enter at your own risk because you won’t want to stop listening.

College with a feel of HS PNR

Thou the characters are or should be College age, the potrayal they showcase at this University they get dragged to has more of a HS view especially with the mean girls click. other than that it was enjoyable with a magnificent explanition as to how they become paranormal creatures and why they should be at this school of sorts. side note//warning Our heroine has some steamy scenes with 2 of her 4 mates this is a RH if this isn't for you then move forward, also this ends on a clifhanger but it was subtle so I personally can wait for the next audio. Narrator did great, she was able to express a unique tone for each. Audiobook Obsessions 🎧

Fallen University

i think the narrator did an amazing job bring all the characters to life, I look forward to listening to many more from her. The story, The story started off strong, just sits up and grabs your attention. Once the main character gets to the university it's mainly about the "mean girl" in school, some attacks and the guys, all very good, I just wish there was a little more character development with the guys, but I'm sure we will begin to understand them more in book 2. the mc is a strong sassy character that handles all these changes like a champ! well worth the read

Fallen University Year One

Enjoyed listening to this book. It had the whole high school vibe. Mean girls picking on one new girl. People that don’t feel like they fit in. Then you add in demons and magic. The sex scenes are hot and intense. 🎧 audio obsession

Gratuitous Language/Sexuality

I really wanted to like this book. I'm a open minded reader, not offended by language or sexual descriptions/play, but...... it can't be the fragile frame a manuscript is held together with. I couldn't finish it, and can't recommend.

Loved It

This is a new author for me and I absolutely loved this book. Piper is such a strong character I thoroughly enjoyed her. She will do anything she can to help others even when the odds seem to be against her. Of course I love Jace; how could you not. The other guys are really growing on me. The narrator was really good. She did a great job with the voices and was easy to listen to.

Needs a cliffhanger warning! LOL

FU reminds me a bit of a grown up Hogwarts for demons, but it's a fun read.... right up until that cliffhanger leaves you hanging by your fingertips! Now I have a burning need to know what happens next!! #AudiobookObession #AuralFixation

cliffhanger

Piper was having a really bad day. taken and turned into a demon. She was in an alternate universe arriving at Fallen University. If you don't make it here, you end up going to Hell. This story is about how she and her fellow classmates adapted to Fallen University. There are the typical cliques. mean girls, the smart ones, the quiet ones, and then is her harem. Lia Holland narration is excellent and a joy to listen to! 🎧audiobookobsessionreview🎧

Reverse Harem Paranormal Romance

Fallen University: Year One by Callie Rose is a reverse harem paranormal romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Lia Holland. I absolutely love Callie’s books! They always leave me begging for more. I loved the chemistry between Piper, Kingston, Jayce, Xero, and Kai. I really enjoyed the fact it wasn’t insta-love between the characters and that they had to work at the connection between them all. The book does end on a cliffhanger but that wasn’t a surprise since it’s the first book in the series. I can’t wait to dive into the next book. Lia did a great job on the narration. I loved that she used different voices/tones for each character. It really brought the story to life. I would recommend this book if you like reverse harems or paranormal romances. F.U. - thats Fallen University!

I loved this book, it was original, full of action and romance and the bully you just love to hate! The heroine Piper was strong, hard working and full of sass, she has a strong moral compass and empathy with a need to protect the vulnerable, which of course gets her into plenty of trouble. Piper is taken to Fallen Acadamy after being turned into a demon and is immediately bonded to four men, but its not smooth sailing and soon she's forced to defend herself against accusations of treason and the rumour mill. I was just sucked into this book from the start and can't wasir to start book 2.

🎧Review for Audiobook Obsession 🎧

Wow what a well crafted beginning to a new series were the students and the university are strictly paranormal along with the course of study. Callie of course has added some love interest and a heroine who is trying to make heads or tails out of her new existence, plus some action and suspense for good measure. Can’t wait to see where she goes next in this storyline. Lia did an outstanding job in the narration. 🎧 Reviewed for Audiobook Obsession 🎧

Callie Rose takes on PNR

Fallen University (Year 1) is book 1 in the Fallen University Series by Callie Rose. I’ve been making my way through this everything by this author and book 1 of this PNR did not disappoint. I loved Piper, and her harem of bonded men. This book has all of the typical Callie Rose ingredients: sassy heroine, reverse harem romance, classic mean girls that you really want to hit, loyal friendships, steamy scenes and a whole lot of angsts. The main difference is the addition of mythical creatures who are secluded in a magical university. My one complaint, is I had a hard time following the timeline, because it seemed to jump around a lot with little warning, so I had to do a lot of re-listening, but other than that it was an enjoyable listen. I enjoyed the narration by Lia Holland so much. She had distinct voices for each character and I never had any issue keeping track of who was who. I’m looking forward to book 2.

My Thoughts on Fallen University: Year One

This book was so much more than 5 stars in my opinion. As a paranormal fan, I got so much that I loved from it. So many different shifters/demons, good world building, well developed and complex characters, and lots of steamy romance. And it was all brought to life by the very talented Lia Holland as the narrator. I love it when one voice can pull off so many characters and give them their own tone and personality. This was a great author and narrator pairing and I cannot wait to jump into book two. 🎧AudiobookObsession Reviewer
