I’m yet to find a JTG book that I haven’t enjoyed. Generally I find it hard to fault them….i have one, just one, with this story *spoiler alert* - I HATED how much the FMC begged the MMC to be with her, in any capacity. Like girl have some damn self respect! I know the sexual tension is a tensioning but damn, there’s a difference between knowing he wants you but is resisting and so you just make it damn hard for him, and desperately throwing yourself at the guy hoping he’ll give you scraps.
Otherwise was a stellar story. MMC was more likeable than his previous book counterpart, FMC was a conflicting character, self assured and girl boss one minute then a whimpering insecure mess the next. Seems unrealistic but upon reflection felt very relatable 😅😅

I’m yet to hear an audiobook from Jacob Morgan that doesn’t hit all the right notes. Makes me angry that my GPS navigation doesn’t have a Jacob Morgan option. The guy could make a nun blush with a hello.

Excellent performance with multiple voices making it easy to distinguish the various characters. This is my second book I’ve read from JT and I just their writing. I love all the twists and turns.

Liked how it crossed over with Emery and Callum a little.
Even through there is a dark side the characters have lots of jokes and light hearted dialogue.
Cole is so taken with Shay even though he doesn’t want to be.

The story was smooth and flirty but lacked the depth that others from this author installed. No disappointment but not on my hard list of recommendations either. The narrators were incredible and flawless throughout. Well done!

I love J T Geissinger!! The twists are always unexpected and the heroes a little grey but always totally dedicated to their beautiful partner. This is so much fun I couldn't do any housework while I listened!
