Publisher's Summary

The first time I met Jax Blackwood things went a little sideways. I didn't know he was Jax Blackwood - who expects a legendary rock star to be shopping for groceries? More importantly, a blizzard was coming, and he was about to grab the last carton of mint-chocolate chip.

Still, I might have walked away, but then he smugly dared me to try and take the coveted ice cream. So I kissed him. And distracted that mint-chip right out of his hands. Okay, it was a dirty move, but desperate times and all that. Besides, I never expected he'd be my new neighbor.

An annoying neighbor who takes great pleasure in reminding me that I owe him ice cream but would happily accept more kisses as payment. An irresistible neighbor who keeps me up while playing guitar naked - spectacularly naked - in his living room.

Nothing about Jax is easy to ignore - not the way he makes me laugh, or that his particular brand of darkness matches mine, or how one look from him melts me faster than butter under a hot sun.

Neither of us believes in love or forever. Yet we're quickly becoming each other's addiction. But we could be more. We could be everything.

All we have to do is trust enough to fall.

Contains mature themes.

Loved it

A little slow in parts but a really great love story. well developed characters and great slow burn. Narrators were good, although male narrator struggles with different voices for other sub characters. A good third installment in the series. Looking forward to the next one.

POWERFUL & BEAUTIFUL

It's an aching story told with care. I love these people, see, they aren't characters anymore they've become people to me. It's also about Mental Health and it gives us small glimpse into what that can be like. Thank you.

Perhaps I should have read this one instead of listening

For some reason I just couldn’t connect with the Narrators. Such a shame because I really enjoyed the first two books. I have listened to the female narrator in other books and didn’t struggle with her voice. Great series though 🙂

Jax & Stella

this is a bit different to the first 2 in the series touching the darkness that mental health creates. Stella is brave in her love for Jax as Jax struggles with dealing with life. Touching story but I would recommend you the other books first to help with the story line between Killian, Scotty and Jax.
