Summary

The books are great but without this narrator I would not have been so captivated and so visually able to follow “John Nettles” in his thoughts, actions and speech. Extraordinary.

I love the characters, world and plot. Caroline Graham has a way of writing that makes the characters seem so vivid, real and interesting. Very well done and worth a read (especially if you love midsomer murders).

Love these books, written so well stories are great and keep you guessing, plus the added bonus of the superb narrator sounding just like Tom Barnaby from the TV series makes these my favourite books on audible!!

I enjoy the Author's style greatly. The well thought out pacing of a detailed narrative, humans in all their foibles and glory. That the Midsomer books are so much more engrossing and human than the delightful TV series is a marvel. Hopkins narration is a revelation, making me regret I live too far away to ever see him on the Stage.
