Publisher's Summary

Mia Devlin knows what it is like to love with your whole heart - and then watch your love walk away. Years ago, she and Sam Logan shared an incredible bond built on passion, legend, and fate. But then one day he fled Three Sisters Island, leaving her lost in memories of the magic they shared - and determined to live without love.

The new owner of the island's only hotel, Sam, has returned to Three Sisters with hopes of winning back Mia's affections. He is puzzled when she greets him with icy indifference - for the chemistry between them is still sizzling and true.

Angry, hurt, and deeply confused, Mia refuses to admit that a passion for Sam still burns in her heart. But she'll need his help - and his powers - to face her greatest, most terrifying challenge. And as the deadline for breaking a centuries-old curse draws near, they must take the first steps toward destiny - and come together to turn back the dark.

Critic Reviews

"Well written and well crafted....Sandra Burr creates subtly different voices and accents for the different characters. Her pacing is excellent, and she conveys just the right amount of expression and emotion to make listening a light and thoroughly enjoyable experience." ( AudioFile)

Don't end.

I got totally wrapped up in the trilogy and did not want it to end. I wanted a fourth book. The characters were so vivid in my imagination.
Bravo to you Nora Roberts you kept my interest in every word.

nice ending

towards the end it was a struggle for me. it seems like she could have had a little more imagination in the spells. there was a lot of repeating. but overall it was a good finish.

Great Story but Some Character Flaws

I loved this series. But the character Ripley on occasion throughout the series is a bit childish for a 30 year old woman. Other than that the story is perfect.

This story is the perfect ending to the series where you see Mia come full circle and it slowly builds. I think the fight peak or crescendo could have been longer and more complicated however.

Voice over is perfect.

The ultimate ending!

Mia makes one want to go work at Cafe Book just so that you can learn from her and take in her learnings.

The 3 together are a force to recon with - if only love and romance were this easy!

Nora Roberts makes you want to read only trilogies so that you can get into the lives of the charaters.

if only this were real! i'd move in a flash!

Wonderfully writted, wonderfully read!

Thank you fro your insight and research and thank you for making them audible!

Love the book, dislike the voices

This is by far my favorite series by Nora Roberts. I do, however, wish that the audio books could be read by several persons, each with their own character like in the old radio shows. It is a bit disconcerting to "hear" Zach talking with a female voice.

Liked the story didn't like all the language.

I love Nora Roberts books. My only problem is the language
if she can use something besides GD I would read more of her books. This is why I stop reading them before. Someone told me it wasn't like that so I started reading her again but this will be the last one I'm afraid. Why someone with a knowledge of words has to use those words is beyond me, it shows ignorance of descriptive language of anger.

Stopped playing

Could not finish listening to this book because it had stopped playing. But what I had listen to so far was not very good too much repetition about other books.

A repeat

I felt that this series repeated much of the authors other books, especially book 3.
