Concise and good read

Love the little andidotes and stories of his life experiences. Having finished fast lane millionaire and unscripted, this one have a lot of the same concepts. Personally, I prefer the other books but this one still have some good ideas and advice well worth listening to.

Does not tell you anything about making money, he goes on and on about nothing and gives no real advice. Very frustrated that I bought this book.

Dan Lok incapable of teaching

most of what he say is free on the internet. this book lack depth and real practical knowledge. total waste of my time. 2 stars since some of what he say can help people, but not worth the buy here as those information is mostly freely distributed on the internet.

I enjoyed the book was a good to listen to, but could of been a little longer with more success storys and with more details. He says in the book think what Dan would doin any scenario, and some good advice. I like his YouTube channel, and his personality that lead me to his book. If your looking for a great book to check out, OBSESSED ABOUT FINANCIAL FREEDOM. It has alot of advice on what the mindset you need to increase your odds of great wealth. Check it out.

Nothing specific

Lots of talk about what money has done for him. What he can do because he has “f.u.” Money and who he can fire because of it. That’s about 70% of the book. 20% is about the way you need to think to get there. About 10% “chapter 25 and 26 he talks about how he got there personally with copy writing, and writing ads. Other than that not a lot of specifics that are actionable. I like the way of thinking though but if you’re looking for specific ways to make money it’s probably not the book for you. Just saying.

Zero substance - about as original as the title

This author seems to have no knowledge of business and constantly contradicts himself throughout the book. Yes, I sat through the entire book hoping to learn something or get a slight change of perspective. Just a few examples - his advice is basically make a business that makes a lot of money, takes no time, and costs very little to start. The majority of this book - at least 70% if him talking about how successful he is and how much money he makes. But you will learn nothing. Absolutely nothing. This is not a why book that gets you to think it's just a shallow, ignorant book wrote as a cash grab. Fortunately I will be returning this under the exchange policy.

Waste of time and money

Self congratulatory journey for the author. He spends the first 20+ chapters congratulating himself on achieving financial freedom and calling anyone who hasn’t lazy. He introduces his brilliant concept towards the end of the book, which is to sell online. No guidance, no specifics. I bought this audio book at the recommendation of a friend, I wish I had researched the author first.

Intro Sucks. But the rest is QUALITY. Best Buy

F.U. Money has a very slow introduction, in which Mr. Lok tries to show his reader the unique perspective and value that his book can add to their business and life {seemingly} through the shock factor technique of: I'm not afraid to curse which somehow reinforces my authenticity (yes, expect Fudge and Dams), as well as the redundant cliche message of: if you really want to change your life, get off your lazy butt and do something - and if you are WILLING to do something, keep reading and I'll explain what it is you really want and how to get there------ If I had not researched Dan Lok previously and had known ahead of time the quality information and expertise he provides, I would have stopped listening to his book at chapter 1. The first twenty to thirty minutes mistakingly make F.U. Money sound like another B.S. book with little to no value to serious prospects, written purely to bring a buck or two into the pocket of its creator.

HOWEVER: If you hang in there (just as the cliche statement promises) this is one of the best books regarding vision or progression in lifestyle, personal finance or business potential. If you get past the intro chapters, you will not be disappointed. I would rank it next to The Richest Man in Babylon, and would even say it is a more modern and sensible or truly actionable version of "Think and Grow Rich." He gives great examples on how to scale a business big or small through modern tech platforms and the internet. Either way, his message, experience, examples and teaching method (though drastic at times) is authentic, time tested, powerful and will cause you to think about what you can or should do to improve the next year of your life - especially financially. Ask yourself: What does my ideal life, or ideal business look like? This book will help you to paint the picture you never knew you could create.

Always appreciate when the author is the narrator

Dan has an accent and still narrates this story, and I think that is action speaking louder than the words he says in this book. I thought this was just awesome! The beginning of the book is a bit of an overview and not specific, and I felt ripped off. However, towards the very end i thought that he was giving away extremely valuable golden nuggets. It was worth going over the whole story for the context of the value messages. Recommend = absolutely P.s. and this is coming from a very particular critic on these kinds of books.

Motivational, not constructive

This book was really just a motivational story of his life. It didn't really give you too many examples of how to do what he did to become wealthy. He does tell you to go to his website at the end to continue the journey.

Don’t Bother

Most of the book is about why you would want FU Money, while the book was supposed to be about how to get FU Money. A complete waste of time and money.

Talks a big game, is full of hot air

Took a risk with the credit, wasn't worth it. Most of the book is wasted time talking about how great he feels to be rich and how much he hates poor people (and I mean, really hates poor people). Nothing original and very poorly executed. Dont waste your time with this book, it serves only to pump up his own ego. The exact moment he lost me was after spending 15 minutes insulting poor people, he started making a joke about offering a women money to sleep with him and insulting her.

Too much filler

Too much useless stuff put in to make it longer. Like half of it seems to be about how you shouldn't feel guilty about being rich, how its cool to be rich which I totally agree! But surely you don't need to spend that much time to get those points across?

writer has an odd perspective on people

I will admit upfront that there are maybe two or three of the 26 chapters in this book that are worth listening to if you are interested in developing a business or making your, as Dan puts it "f.u. money". the rest may have you shouting at your radio, like I did, wondering where he gets his perspective on people from. to give you a brief summary, the first 22 chapters seem to be him trying to convince you that you do in fact want to be rich and it is not as bad as everyone makes out... huh? I for one did not need convincing. he literally has chapters full of"myths" about rich people that he feels the need to dispel in case they are putting you off being rich . it is as though he believes we are all sitting here with million dollar ideas and I seem to put them into action but are scared of how rich we're going to be so it is his responsibility to convince us that being rich is really not that bad. like I say there are a couple of chapters right at the end that give a little bit of detail about he actually made his money and that may assist some people setting up internet businesses but other than that I really do not feel it is worth a listen.

Chaotic and non-aplicable information

I like many others first saw Dan Lok on youtube and wanted to learn more. I figured he must have done something right being able to make me purchase his audiobook. But Dan Lok follows the ABC principle ( and is great at it ) sp essentially he really does not care about what or who he sells to, this book is an example of that. The book does not dig deep into anything meaningful or aplicable. No one should have a goal of “always be closing” studies analysing succesful platforms prove how Dan Lok type philosophy might be financially ok, (short term only) but in general it is bad for buisness only thinking of and focusing on the number of clients..

Rip off, wish I could return for refund

It's all about living emotionally and financially beyond your means and justifying it that something will come out of this. So I went on linked in to see what successful companies he runs and the only success is MLM style coaching... YouTube San lok is a fraud.
