Narrator let's it down
The narrator may be a good news reader but stilted and lacking nuance and emotion. Admittedly he was not given fluid descriptive prose to work with. Repetitive descriptions, a female lead that was weak and stupid. Although not expecting it to be in the same class as Diana Gabaldin it was still disappointing.
