Story
Is it possible to write a sidesplitting novel about the breakup of the perfect marriage? If the writer is Nora Ephron, the answer is a resounding yes. For in this inspired confection of adultery, revenge, group therapy, and pot roast, the creator of Sleepless in Seattle reminds us that comedy depends on anguish as surely as a proper gravy depends on flour and butter.

The most intimate and moving memoir
The most intimate and moving memoir I have ever had the privilege to listen to/read. This goes beyond the public storytelling into a world of connectivity and the profound connections we have on each other. A celebration of a beautiful life force immersed in the wonder of life and overcoming huge obstacles and challenges with love and hope and deep understanding. Oh my goodness READ IT! Listen! I laughed and howled with pain and tears and laughter. It’s wonderful. You will be forever grateful for her sharing.

A completely open and honest, heartfelt memoir.
I loved the honesty and warmth apparent in every sentence of Heather Mitchel’s memoir. She transports me right back to being an adolescent in Sydney in the 70s. I loved this book and it will be my choice for Book Club in a couple of months.
