The narrator was horrific! He sounded like he was reading the news, barely took a breath and raced through 4-5 sentences as if they were just one. Don’t get me started on the accents. His “Russian” sounded like colonel Klink, the women sounded stupid and the old men like they were dying.
Totally ruined the book for me.

Having read and enjoyed most Alex Gerlis books I found this one rather disjointed and disappointing.
