It did drag a bit to start with. Was an interesting story line with twists.

I almost gave up on this after 15mins. The narration was at times like nails on a chalkboard. Once I got used to the narration I quite enjoyed the tale. Although the characters are unrealistic and not at all relatable, I listened to this story like a guily pleasure. The way the story came together redeemed the awful narration. At times pretentious, however sucked me in to the world of the elite making this book an enjoyable experience.

This is the first book that I have listened to from this author. All I can say is that I am so glad I found her. This is an excellent story. It is gripping, thrilling and exciting. It may be the first A.R. Torre audio-book, but it certainly wont be the last. :-)

Yeah couldn’t get into this book until well over the half way mark. It seemed to be building and then the end was mix matched however, it did tie everything together.

At times the narration sounds computer generated and fake. Bit odd. Plot not believable but an ok listen while your doing the housework. .
