Publisher's Summary

Juliet Hawthorne doesn't want much, just to finish midwifery school with as little drama as possible, until Dr. Ethan Harvey shows back up in her life.

Hot doctor? Yes.

Hot doctor that she had a one night stand with in nursing school? Maybe.

Hot doctor that's one of her mentors during her final semester? No.

Well. Maybe.

Yes?

No. She can't. She will definitely get kicked out of the program.

When Ethan decides he wants a second chance with her, Juliet is forced to chose between her love for him and her career. The decision might tear her in two.

FANTASTIC romance!!

Seriously I love this author. And this story is SUPERB. It’s angsty and steamy and everything I needed. The narrator is phenomenal too. Everything about this audio book was perfect!

Great story and narrator

One of my favorite books!
The narrator is perfect for the story and characters.
Dr. Ethan Harvey is McDreamy and McSteamy all in one! He will be one of your favorite book boyfriends.
This is a sweet second chance, opposites attract, contemporary romance.

Leisurely and Intense Medical Romance!

Yes, I totally meant leisurely and intense because this audiobook does both beautifully. The story is very sweet and the characters are interesting. Their shared backstory is tangled and potentially unforgiving yet totally relatable. Ethan is slightly quirky but mostly a successful obstetrician with a conservative medical heritage. Juliet is an aspiring midwife with slightly hippie personality traits though completely serious and dedicated. They have so much going against them including the way they practice medicine and their age difference. But they also have so much going right, if only they would give it a chance.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was simultaneously relaxing and gripping with moments of delight and of utter sadness. I loved it!
