Such a treasure to be told by Quentin Blake too!

Would you consider the audio edition of Esio Trot to be better than the print version?

I loved it, so yes - better than the print version.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Esio Trot?

It's a cheeky story line I'll tell you that! The ending wasn't what I expected, but then we are talking about a tortoise? I loved the imagination of Roald Dahl, again he never ceases to amaze me. The magic spell for growing - priceless!!

What does Quentin Blake bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

Look I'm a huge fan of Quentin Blake, being an illustrator myself. So stumbling across a Roald Dahl book NARRATED by Quentin Blake was a real treasure! Quentin really brings out the British charm of Dahl's stories that your own voice in your head can't quite do.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Felt a mix of happiness and umbrage at the end. You'll have to read it to see what I mean, but glad everyone in the end was happy.

Any additional comments?

This story would be great for a classroom! I loved it and even though it only went for 33 minutes or so, it's so entertaining. I'll be slowly downloading all of Roald Dahl's other audio books too. For the young and young at heart! <3 Bravo!

Lovely story. Loved the ending.

The performance of this story is wonderful and story is so lovely especially at the end. Worries don't matter no more when happiness and love fill the little creature's journey of life.

Esio Trot...I love it

I love this book and I listen to it every night I am 9. I've listened to it about 40 times. My favourite part is when Mr hoppy swaps alive for the bigger tortoise. And I love when Mrs silver describes little ladies house when the bigger tortoise can't fit in

Short and sweet

This isn't the longest story to purchase but it is a lovely listen. My son has listened to it repeatedly, at least 20 times or more. Anyone who has seen the short film will have no problem with Quentin Blake's silky tones wrapping around the image in your mind making a joyful short story.

Esio Trot

I loved it because it had a happy ending. The best bit was when they got married. I lived all the three characters because they were all so nice. I also liled that there were no bad bits. Amélie, 5 years old
