About this listen

 Erwin Steinhauer (*1951 in Wien) studierte anfänglich Geschichte und Germanistik, um schließlich 1974 gemeinsam mit Erich Demmer, Alfred Rubatschek und Wolfgang Teuschl das "Kabarett Keif" zu gründen. Es folgten Soloprogramme, eine Spielserie im Wiener Simpl, Auftritte im legendären Düsseldorfer Kom(m)ödchen und diverse Programme, in Zusammenarbeit mit verschiedenen Künstlern der Wiener Kabarettszene, allen voran Wolfgang Teuschl und Arthur Lauber.

2001 begann Steinhauer, nachdem er sich für längere Zeit vom Kabarett zurückgezogen hatte, seine Zusammenarbeit mit Rupert Henning, deren bislang letzter Streich das satirische Stück "Freundschaft" darstellt. Brillianz und Erfolg des Stücks lassen auf weiteres hoffen.
