Store ting sker på lørdage, i hvert fald i Halfdans liv. For eksempel mistede han sin morfar på en lørdag. Heldigvis blev morfar genfødt som en papegøje og bor nu hjemme hos Oda Poulsen, som Halfdan og hans gode ven Dylan spiller whist med.
