Repetitive and boring. To make up enough words in review. I couldn't wait for the book to end. And the ending was no surprise.

Not the James Patterson I enjoy.

One of the only books I have returned for credit. Should have had a suicide trigger warning. Poorly written for what appears to shock value an unlike a James Patterson novel.
Perhaps the ending has a wonderful twist, but I’m afraid I couldn’t read through the boring and repetitive descriptions of self immolation. I imagine I was supposed to feel very moved but the only emotion I could muster was boredom?
