I love Warners Books!

And I bought this audible edition of the hard copy book in my collection so I could listen to it at leisure. Much to my dismay within the first 10 mins of listening there is a glaringly embarrassing error when the narrator says that Edward I faced an uprising in…. 1920! This error does not appear in the book so is the fault of poor narration and no correcting.

The narrator is irritating. Her over emphasis on words such as THE is laughable. What’s more because of her over pronunciation some of her words flow together: ‘and the’ become
‘andathe ‘.

There was no need for this plum in mouth narration style as it proves nothing and adds nothing to the story.

Do buy the book… seriously it is great history well written! Forget the audible edition unless you have a high threshold of irritation level!
