I kept thinking that this was written with film rights ultimately in mind, or possibly even written after watching the film Annihilation.

it was an entertaining listen. I couldn't decide if the dialogue was full of cliches, or if it was just cheesy.

And what was with the narrators accents?!? It was only when the author provided information about where the character was from I could place them.

This book grabbed me and did not let go until I saw our characters reach safety. An awesome adventure.

Eden took a while to get going but my patience was rewarded. It did take time for me to truly enjoy the narration, however, there is great clarity and pacing. Eden isn't my favourite Lebbon book but still one I'd recommend. A solid 3.5/5

this could be a great book unfortunately I cannot get past the mechanical style of narration the reader uses just not my style, hopefully another version will be brought out with a new reader
