Thoroughly enjoyed the storyline I love all the characters and the narrator did an amazing job. I really hope there is more Nikki Galena to come

This book did not disappoint. It had so many twists and turns during the story. Did not come to the conclusion of the murderer until it was revealed and boy it was a shock. Sad it has ended. Well done. Another fabulous sequel to Nikki Galina & Joseph Easter and there team.

Wow oh wow

I have sometimes chafed at the way the series involves the main characters in the crimes so often and not just as sleuths, but this one brought the many threads together so well, with another engaging storyline and so many historical, forensic and natural world facts and figures.
The narration has been excellent with only the Welsh accent falling short. However, I'm not sure that I will include the not yet visited Lincolnshire Fens on my travel list, given the plethora of psychopathic killers to be found there, though perhaps Nikki and her team have wiped them all out by now.

A fitting conclusion

Story line, while complex, was gripping. Unfortunately I found the narrator’s voice irritating and the presentation jerky.

Good yarn

Yay, I loved this book, about time everyone knew about Nikki and Joseph!

The only thing I struggle with in all the Joy Ellis books is the narrator, they are hard to listen to.

About time!!!
