Loved how the female storyline was built to be strong for the times, giving their men a run for their money.

These 5 novels are excellently written, and narrated by Shane and Justine (I'd follow them anywhere they are so good)
the stories are more than just romance (although there is heaps of that), but also has danger, intrigue, and much more.
Mariah is an excellent story teller, and weaves tales of characters that crosses books - but you can listen to them alone.

Well written and well read, however every story is based on one arrogant narcissistic ignorant man who against his better judgement needs a blue stocking capable woman's assistance.. she however looses all self respect when he looks at her and sacrifices everything for him.. at the very crux of no return he realises that he loves her and wants to be her hero. Peppered amongst it are unnecessary sex scenes that do nothing for the story. it gets a bit much.

Don’t know what I dislike most; the silly improbable storylines or the tedious and tacky detailed descriptions of people having sex. Am only into the second book trying my best to to hang in there since I’ve paid for this horrible bundle of books but I don’t know if I can manage to get through it all………..

The voice of the female narrator, painful to listen to to, sounds like she suffers from severe constipation.

I struggled with the female narrator. Her voice is nervous, breathy, and shaky. It meant that each story had the same annoying sound. The series might have been more bearable but maybe not.
