I've read dark.
I've read unhinged.
But this was a whole new level and I sucked it down like a toddler given the keys to the ice cream shop.
She's a dancer who's lost the ability to perform, so chooses instead to dance where she can: in a strip bar.
He's a man with a dark history that's left him full of scars, both figurative and literal, he's also built like a Greek god and can rip anyone to shreds with his bare hands. He develops a slight obsession with her that leads to all sorts of deranged behaviour that does not go light.
It's a fun story, left a little light in terms of heavy plot development or world building but most of what I've read of Biel does this as she focuses more on the characters and what they're going through. Is it a literary masterpiece? No, but it's an absolute dark ride from start to finish and will meet your expectations if that's what you're wanting.

her flow is effortless and her storyline are flawless.
the performance was amazing.
I do recommend you read the trigger warning... this one was more on the dark side for me then the rest in the series but again this differe from person to person.
