About this listen
Nominee for Best Contemporary Romance (Goodreads)
Named one of the Top 10 hottest romance reads of 2017 by Huffington Post and The New York Daily News!
Music...the heart’s greatest librarian.
The average song is three and a half minutes long; those three and a half minutes could lead to a slow blink, a glimpse of the past, or catapult the soul into heart-shattering nostalgia.
At the height of my career, I had the life I wanted, the life I’d always envisioned. I’d found my tempo, my rhythm. Then I received a phone call that left me off key.
You see, my favorite songs had a way of playing simultaneously. I was in love with one man’s beats and another’s lyrics. But when it came to the soundtrack of a life, how could anyone choose a favorite song? So, to erase any doubt, I ditched my first-class ticket and decided to take a drive, fixed on the rearview.
Two days.
One playlist.
And the long road home to the man who was waiting for me.
Drive is the first book in The Bittersweet Symphony duet, an angsty, steamy, white-knuckle ride full of love, loss, and self-discovery. From the bestselling author of The Ravenhood Trilogy Kate Stewart.

Kate has once again written a beautiful book that has the ability to make you feel so many emotions.
The humour, anger, betrayal, love and sadness was woven beautifully throughout the story.
The narration pulled it all together so well and had me glued to my headphones so I could devour the story.
I have to say I was absolutely gutted to find out who Stella ended up with. I get it, however, I was invested in the other guy.
Kate’s writing leaves you with an emotional hangover for days after reading her books. I’m going to take a break before I dive into Reverse.
What are you doing to me Kate Stewart!

I read this book months ago and I am still feeling it and play the song Drive all the time.
The storyline and characters…it made me laugh and happy cry.
Make sure you listen to the songs that are mentioned, some might not be to your liking but Drive at the end it’s something that gave me shivers!!!!
Not many stand out like this

An absolute masterpiece, Drive is one of my all time favourite books. Sure, the first time I read it I wasn't sure how it was all going to end and I was an emotional wreck by the time Stella's story came to an end... but every read since then is like coming home. It is a comfort to go through the angst and anxiety that is Stella's path to love. But it is worth every moment! An amazing read that I'll never forget!!
I really enjoyed the updated narration of this book. Kai Kennicott was AMAZING and I could listen to her all day. This was 4/5 stars for performance for me because Wen Ross - while amazing - just didn't sound like Reid Crowne in my head. Nitpicky I know but it's my review!! Overall absolutely incredible and one I will definitely listen to again!!
It takes years and one minute past desperation...

Kate has managed to rip my heart to shreds & put it back together AGAIN.
Not to mention Wen & Kai absolutely killed it!
I have no words!
