About this listen

Who will save the Dragon from the Princess?

Blitz is meant to be a rampaging Devastator Dragon. Unfortunately, lighting his own hearth fire isn't really a strength. When he accidentally kidnaps the black Princess Azania, the most beautiful woman in all the realms, riches, honor, and undeniable glory beckon.

Never mind that every knight errant, prince, and scoundrel in the land now wants his head on a platter. Minor details.

Far worse, she's a woman with actual ideas and the nerve to decide she doesn't want to be rescued. What she'd rather do is reform her Dragon. Her Dragon! Gnarr!

With humor, unconventional flair and the odd stomp of a diminutive slipper, the mismatched pair set out to turn the kingdoms on their heads.

Beware. Fate hath no fury like a Dragon-riding Princess scorned.

It was a good listen. Works out well as a comedy leaning on all the cliches

Entertaining and good value

At first I wasn’t sure about this book but very soon I was enjoying it. It is funny and entertaining depicting strong friendships and despite the violence I found it a wonderful book.

A light-hearted approach, to some very vexing subjects. Wonderful vocabulary builder. A dragon fantasy dream!

Punderful

great story the only flaw was that the end was a little abrupt but that's it. 9.8/10

nothing but gold

I liked the characters, the values instilled and the fact that while there was war and relationships nothing was too graphic. It was good to have solid POC characters. I felt this was a light hearted fantasy, written with empowerment in mind. I enjoyed the stories a lot.

Great fantasy with Dragons and Princesses

Too much in the way of modern politics can seriously ruin an otherwise good story and in that vein the main character can really only be described as 50+ foot of scaly simp with the princess soon giving massive Mary Sue vibes. Everyone instantly loves her, unless they're evil.

It gets a bit much.

I liked the characters but the story just didn’t grab me and the voice was grating. Wish I’d tried a sample. I’m only 1 hour in, so the review might be unfair, but I wish I hadn’t bought the book, so this review might help others choose sample first before committing
