Publisher's Summary

Dr. Off Limits? I have a fever, and I think you might be the medicine I need.

I’ve sworn off men to focus on my dream job that starts on Monday. But my best friend talks me into a final night of fun—a blind date.

I only agree because the guy is going to work as a doctor in Africa.

It’s the best date of my life. Dr. Africa makes me laugh and swoon, and I want to give him a thorough physical examination.

He turns into Dr. One Night Stand, and I’m not sad about it.

Monday morning, I’m enthusiastic and excited, until I bump into...you guessed it.

Apparently Dr. Africa got his brother to fill in on our date, and now I work at the same hospital as the guy I got naked with on Saturday.

Did I mention he’s my new boss?

I need to go right to the emergency room and find a cure for my crush on Dr. Off Limits.

Dr Off Limits was the medicine I needed!

Seriously, one of THE best forbidden contemporary romance novels of all time!

Like every one of Louise Bay’s releases, I had been counting down Dr Off Limits since Mr Notting Hill - and well Dr Jacob Cove was totally worth it.

I love Louise Bay and her brand of #BritishHero performed by my favourite #Brit Shane East is the ‘magic pudding’ of audiobook goodness that never fails to please, combined with the fabulous #womenofaudio such as the delicious Clare Corbett, the result is perfection.

Dr Off Limits had me hooked from the start: I connected to this story on such a personal level – I too met the love of my life and now husband through insta-love/meet-cute but forbidden romance.
While Dr Off Limits can be read as stand alone, it makes for an even better experience when read in sequence and get to meet some of the cross-over characters - plus Louise hooks you in and you can’t help but want to know all about them.

It’s one of THE best crossover series’ of the year with the Misters and Players series: it’s like visiting old friends which I am here for – I loved the Misters and was not ready for it to end, but knowing that we would see some of those fabulous characters in the Doctors had me so excited and I can tell you it was well worth the wait – Louise did not disappoint!

If you have been missing The Mister’s and The Players series like me, then you are in for a real treat: Dr Off Limits is the first in the new Doctors Series where we meet Dr Jacob Cove and Dr Sutton Scott.

Jacob and Sutton’s hot and steamy, forbidden swoon-worthy story contains:

Billionaire British Hero
Forbidden Love
Medical Romance
Mistaken Identity
Crossover – Misters & Players

We’ve already met Sutton Scott in Mr Notting Hill, as Parker Frazer’s BFF who is studying medicine and discovers she has been accepted in the top Medical Training Hospital in the UK: The Royal Free. Parker has set her up on a final night of fun on a blind date with Dr Beau Cove before she starts her dream. Sutton isn’t interested in a relationship and agrees only because her date will be going to Africa.

Well I turns out that Dr Africa can’t make the date, and asks his brother Dr Jacob Cove to stand in for him.

Their attraction was instant, and their chemistry is off the charts:

Jacob(Shane): “I knew that once I touched her, it would take an earthquake to stop us both. The sexual tension had been slowly simmering all night and was now threatening to boil over. The feeling was so thick, you could almost gather it up and tie it into bows.”

After an amazing night together, Jacob and Sutton discover they’re both working together at the Royal Free: Sutton as the new doctor on the foundation Program and Jacob the lead consulting Doctor and her boss on the program.

Both Jacob and Sutton are determined to not let a workplace relationship get in the way of their respective career goals, and while they try and put distance between each other at work, circumstances and fate has other plans and keeps drawing them to each other.

Shane and Clare were exceptional as Jacob and Sutton: Shane with his trademark whispers, growly sonorous tones was the perfect Jacob – he was the caring and dedicated doctor who was admired by his colleagues, liked by his patients and loved by his family.

Clare was the perfect Sutton: determined, gritty and tenacious: she was able to demonstrate Suttons’ vulnerable side and you got a real sense that Sutton really had overcome adversity: form a broken home and working from age 16 as a hairdresser, putting herself through university.

Shane and Clare are one of my favourite pairings in audio: I fell in love with them in Mr Notting Hill and totally ship #Share

Louise Bay truly is a queen and once again does not disappoint she give us all the deliciously sweet, saucy, steamy scenes that we love and Clare and Shane were exceptional! If you're new to Louise and not sure where to start, I'd highly recommend Dr Off Limits: guaranteed to please!

My favourite by Louise Bay

I’ve listened to quite a few of Louise Bays stories and this one is by far been my favourite. A lovely romantic light hearted read after a boring and busy day at work.
