After spending the last 10 years in prison, Zak, former DAMC president, has a few priorities: to reconnect with his “brothers”, to get drunk, and to get laid. Not necessarily in that order. When he spots a stunning woman in the clubhouse and mistakes her for one of the club’s strippers, those priorities get a bit skewed.

I listened to this book first time it was released with just Ava narrating and it was good. Even better now they have updated to dual narration like the rest of the series. I really hope that new series Guts and Glory will be a duet narration. It’s so much better. Even though the narrators try their best to do the opposite sex voice it spoils the flow of the story to hear a woman try and sound like a man. But still a fantastic series, looking forward to remaining 3 books in Audio.

this author writes like lani Lynn vale..an author I struggle to read. everything jumps
along way to quick. the heroine, I my opinion is made out to be dumb by knowing absolutely no lingo or slang at all....she's in her 30's for God's sake she can't be that naive. then just about every chapter she keeps asking herself how did this happen....just about drove me crazy!!! I still don't know who is trying to harm her and perhaps that's in book 2 but I'm struggling with the depth of the storyline. I'm disappointed as I love series books and was ready to settle in but it just doesn't ring true for me. the narrator's were ok. Lucy a bit too sheepish for the way the author wanted to portray her heroine but Sean does ok.
steamy bits are hoooot!!!! if your looking for a light MC read then this is it.
