Publisher's Summary

Frederique Toenes was the pastor of a small vibrant church in Jonestown, Virginia. His wife Dorothy and their teenage daughter Merlene were not as committed as he was to the faith, so on several occasions, Dorothy stirred up confusion with accusations, both in the home and in the church.

Merlene began an intimate relationship with a neighbor Mr. Seatone, whose daughter Eastlyn lived a miserable life, trying to take care of her mother who was in deep depression over her husband’s disloyalty to her.

Eastlyn and her mother did not know that it was the pastor’s daughter causing the trouble for their family so she tried hard to confide in Pastor Toenes, but his wife did not allow that to happen by posing violent threats.

This triangle which involved lies, accidents, and death eventually brought both families to their senses and a time of forgiveness and repentance. Eventually, the church, which had become a place of chaos, was, once again, restored to the vibrant church they once had.
