About this listen

A juicy, powerful listen featuring twin sisters who have drifted apart and the shocking family secrets that bind them....

Robin and Sarah weren't the closest of twins. They weren't even that similar. But they loved each other dearly. Until, in the cruellest of domestic twists, they were taken from one another.

Now in her early 30s, Robin lives alone. Agoraphobic and suffering from panic attacks, she spends her days pacing the rooms of her house. The rest of the time she watches - watches the street, the houses, the neighbours. Until one day she sees something she shouldn't...

And Sarah? Sarah got what she wanted - the good-looking man, the beautiful baby, the perfect home. But she's just been accused of the most terrible thing of all. She can't be around her new family until she has come to terms with something that happened a long time ago. And to do that, she needs to track down her twin sister. But Sarah isn't the only person looking for Robin. As their paths intersect, something dangerous is set in motion, leading Robin and Sarah to fight for much more than their relationship....

A bit slow to start and I imagine it works be very difficult reading for someone who might have expierences similar trauma

Dark story with a clever twist.

The intertwined family saga is well told for 3/4 of the book. The reader is treated to rich descriptions of some characters while others such as Hillary were all but ignored. The story, until the end, was a somewhat interesting one - leaving me to wonder if the editor was MIA or if the work was finished by someone other that the author. The narrators never got in the way.
I would recommend this work to Audible listeners, but that ending????

i liked the first 3/4 of the book more than the ending. i felt it got a little out of control trying to make twists and add extra info at the end when there were really enough storylines well developed without adding one more. overall enjoyable though.

pretty good

Full of suspense the whole way through. I couldn't stop listening, and when I wasn't listening I was constantly thinking about the story. What a great page turner!!!
