One of my all time favourite books turned into one of my all time favourite audiobooks
King doesn’t disappoint and Sternhagen exceeds expectations
Absolutely gripping, a novel I reread and relisten to very often

My new favourite
One word. Wow. Part of me almost couldn't believe I was reading a Stephen King novel. It's so unique and different but so Stephen King at the same time. The performance by Frances Sternhagen was immaculate. I loved this novel so much, I didn't want it to end.

Best audiobook I've had so far!
If you could sum up Dolores Claiborne in three words, what would they be?
Truly engaging story!
What was one of the most memorable moments of Dolores Claiborne?
The story doesn't move too quickly but it is the detail and humanity behind it which makes it so captivating.
What does Frances Sternhagen bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
The narrator has an unusual voice for an audiobook but as you listen, you'll understand that it is the perfect voice for the story being told.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The reveal at the end, but I won't spoil it for you.
Any additional comments?
I highly recommend this audiobook. It is a mystery but also human and dramatic - it is just a great story and those will always be relevant and sought out. The characters have many layers to them and it is brilliant writing as you would expect from Stephen King.

the woman story as thing in it mirror things in my own life
nothing the book was very interesting in how she told her story Stephen King made a story about people the was so clever and close to real life it was very enjoyable.

Intriguing and entertaining!
What a hidden gem! The story is classic King - clever, twisting and turning, with moments of horror, tension and outright laughter. A real surprise here was the narration! Honestly one of the best audiobooks I’ve listened to in a long time, because the narrator so embodied the character of Dolores. A great listen, thank you!
