This was such an incredibly creative and imaginative story, with outstanding narration. The characters, plot, and overall storytelling hooked me more and more as the story progressed. Definitely getting the next book.

Picked up this book on sale and listened along.
As a big fan of Ben Aaronovitch and Jasper Fforde - those recommendations are spot on - I loved this book.
I have not read the St Mary's books and began on this spin-off series, but I don't feel like I missed anything.
I am very attached to Team Weird now - I loved the humour and nerdy jokes.
Great writing style and excellent reading from Zara Ramm.
I agree with other reviewers that the fat-shaming scene with Mr Plimpton and his family was unnecessary, but the rest of the book was excellent.

I was initially worried a new series would take away from St Mary’s, instead it complements it beautifully. Looking forward to the next time police adventure.
Jodi Taylor, due to life challenges I thought I had forgotten how to laugh. You have helped me find my laugh and I smile often when I see something which is so in character for one of your great books.
