About this listen

Big Finish's first Fourth Doctor adventure. A great jumping-on point...

After saying their good-byes to Professor Litefoot and Henry Gordon Jago, the Doctor and Leela respond to an alien distress call beamed direct from Victorian England. It is the beginning of a journey that will take them to the newly built Space Dock Nerva...where a long overdue homecoming is expected. A homecoming that could bring about the end of the human race.

Written and directed by Nicholas Briggs.

In preparation for the upcoming 60th anniversary of Doctor Who, I've been listening to the multitude of audio dramas by big finish. I hadn't listened to the Fourth Doctor audio's yet, save for a few, and I have to say it's like they never left the show. Brilliant performances and great story. My only criticism of Destination: Nerva would be it's fast pace. Lots of things happen in the first episode and could overwhelm some listers as they try to keep track with the plot. Aside from that, a grade A episode.
Welcome back Tom Baker and Louise Jameson!
