About this listen
When Jackson gets his hands on the men who kidnapped Hannah, he's going to rip their hearts, still beating, from their chests.
Or worse.
No amount of pain or desecration seems sufficient punishment for the sin of taking Hannah away from him.
He won't stop until he has the woman he loves back in his arms and in his bed. But as the ugly truth behind his and Hannah's intertwined pasts is revealed, their love will face its greatest challenge yet.
©2015 Everly Stone (P)2016 Everly StoneUnfortunately there are major plot holes which were annoying but given it is fantasy I guess the author had some leeway. The h is supposedly in hiding from people wanting to kill her. She is the daughter of one of the richest men in the world but decides to sell herself to a stranger for a month rather than ask her father for money???
It was far more lovey dovey than hard dark romance. The H tries to "break" the h by taking her on a hike and making her carry the water? This is a woman he has been hunting for 6 years - who has destroyed his life and he doesn't seem to have any real plan other than to have sex with her and to tae er to his dad?
The female narrator was good but the male was AWFUL! His female voice made me cringe and I almost couldn't finish the book.
Lastly trying to make this out to be a series of 4 separate books has made me decide not to give this author any more of my money. It is one book that has been carved up with a cliffhanger ending in each one - the only reason to do this is greed on the part of the author.
Good but definitely not great
