Detective Carl of Department Q, the cold cases division, has received a file concerning the brutal murder of a brother and sister 20 years earlier. A group of boarding school students were the suspects at the time - until one of their numbers confessed and was convicted. So why is the file of a closed case on Carl’s desk? Who put it there? Who believes the case is not solved?
A police detective wants to talk to Kimmie and someone else is asking questions about her. They know she carries secrets certain powerful people want to stay buried deep. But Kimmie has one of her own. It’s the biggest secret of them all. And she can’t wait to share it with them….

What made the experience of listening to Disgrace the most enjoyable?
The narrator is pure genius. Love it.Who was your favorite character and why?
The two main leads are my favourites, although a newcomer who was annoying at first is starting to warm on me as well. The detective and his awesome sidekick. What a pair. Their personalities balance each other out perfectly.Which scene did you most enjoy?
The scene where Karl comes home and thinks there's a party happening but his step-son and lodger have set up a surround sound system.Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Made me laugh in several places due to Karl's dry wit, made me smile at Assad's commentsAny additional comments?
Excellently written, a bit gory, but I listen because I'm now attached to the main characters. I'm looking forward to hearing the whole series.More of what we love!
