I loved this book. It was somewhat ruined for me by the TV adaptation that took away my own ability to visualise the characters. The TV series however is a very close adaptaion of this text. It's really all about a person's reputation and how it can be shaped by a narrative, no matter how incorrect or misguided that narritive may be. It's an excellent book and also quite disturbing.

Superb story about reputation

Slow beginning I had trouble getting into this book the second half was much better

Worth reading

Any additional comments?

The story and performances were good but I can't say I was wowed by either. An easy, vacation 'read'.

Enjoyable but not memorable
