Wow

This story was awesome and sad, sad that both brothers were vying for her love and she had to pick one. Awesome because it had a great storyline to it. Narration was awesome too.

Disappointing story line

I really wanted to like this Audio. I gave it my best shot because I do adore the narrators. They did an excellent job on an audio without much substance. The first audio in this series was much better than this one. The storyline seemed to forced and so predictable that it no longer held my interest. Unfortunately I’m calling it quits halfway through. I do enjoy this Author and have high hopes of enjoying future audiobooks of hers.

Great conclusion to this love story!

This audiobook delivered a great ending to the story in Gavin and Emma’s previous book. I like the fact that Gavin became more likable, as he was kind of a jerk in the first book. It has a happy ending for everyone but Cooper, who I feel really bad for, as he lost his chance to be Emma’s love. I’m looking forward to the next book n this serves to see Cooper find his “Princess”. Narration was perfection.

Had high hopes but became too much of a cliche

UGGG!!!!! It kills me when I have high hopes about an audiobook and the story is just a let down. Book was was pretty good overall, but this one became too much of a cliche in all the bad ways that contemporary romance can get. The narrators are great and their performance in now way takes away from the fact that the storyline became completely predictable. I will listen to more of Zachary Webber & Meghan Tusing but this is where I leave this series.

Female narrator is whiny and juvenile sounding

I don’t know why I listened to this 2nd book, I guess the cliffhanger part of the story about what happened to Ashley. The story is silly, I hate how Gavin calls her ‘pet’ and is a half dom type guy while Cooper the brother calls her ‘princess’ and is supposedly also in love with Emma even though the relationship between he and Emma isn’t really developed. It was a lame way to make her seem desirable and amazing despite being a nerdy librarian with a weak whiny personality yet she supposedly catches both these guy’s eye when they run a (billion dollar of course) empire of beautiful female escorts. She’s just nothing special, not sexy or charismatic or funny or strong yet both men fall in love with her—whatever. I love the male narrator but loathe the female. She sounds weak, whiny, annoying and pathetic. Oh and it’s yet another story where the female lead has an abuse ex she needs to be protected from. If I listen to the last book in this series it’ll only be to see where Cooper’s story goes even though from the teaser it’s already ridiculous to me that he’s so wounded from that snoozer loser Emma who he never actually had anything with anyway. Oh and the sex scenes in this were terrible. It’s getting beyond old and lame that anal is the ultimate way the female shows her unparalleled love and devotion to her man.

Wholly hotness

This is a steamy story, In this book Emma chooses between the two brothers which she wants for keeps. Will it be Cooper or Gavin. Let’s just say if I had two gorgeous brothers wanting my attention, I would think that I died and went to heaven. Loved this book and loved the narrative done by both Zachary and Megan. This one has an HEA so if you don’t like cliffhangers then you can get books 1&2 now.

Disappointed

I didn’t care at all for Emma’s snippy attitude in this one. Seemed like a sharp change from the first book.

Frustrated with the female Narrator

I'm really into story series and I really wanted to finish this book. I am a big fan of Zachary Weber narrations, but the female narrator caused me to zone out. As a result , I couldn't keep up with the story.

Can not put it down

This book is super hot and narrated very well by Zachary Weber and Megan Tusing. Zachary has long been one of my favorites. I do hope the next book puts poor Cooper out of his misery though. Kendall Ryan is a very talented writer with a great balance between sizzle and a great story!

Perfect conclusion to Emma and Gavin's story!

I bought both eBook and audiobook. This is my review for the audiobook. Again, Zachary Webber narrated book two to absolutel perfection. I could listen to his voice for ages. I'll be speaking out more of his audiobooks. But onto Emma and Gavin! Wow! What an emotional rollercoaster of a ride. It blew me away. I remained on the edge of my seat the entire time, and even caught myself yelling out, "Yes! Say yes!" or "Just do it!" and no, these are not sexual references, although there is absolutely no shortage of holy-hell hot sex in this one. Treachery, revelations, and suspense await in this action-packed and panty-melting sequel to Dirty Little Secret. You're in for one heck of a ride! Watch the characters grow in your mind as read/listen to this beautifully written book. This series is one I'll be reading and listening to again and again. "I love you a million-billion." Five sexy-as-sin stars! Highly recommended!

Dirty Little Promise.

This is a great second book in the series, with more trouble coming after Emma and Gavin which makes the stories roller coaster with emotion. 👍

Enjoyable

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Yes as it is part of the DUET.

Was Dirty Little Promise worth the listening time?

YES, Always nice to listen to Zach

Any additional comments?

In my opinion this book could have been made in one part. I was left on a cliffy from book one but really this one felt a bit flat to my liking, there was just not much going forward the plot became fairly predictable and felt in a way that it was an unnecessary sequel. I would have finished the story in book one and then move to the other brother and so on and so on. Regardless, Kendall is one of my fav's and I will like to read/listen more from the author.

Fantastic

Kendall Ryan is quickly becoming a one-click author for me. Her books are sexy and have a fun and intriguing storyline. Her writing is very quick and smart, grabbing the reader’s attention and hauling them into the story. The characters are smart and sexy, and funny. This book will have you swooning, and laughing, and maybe getting a little frustrated and sad. And then you’ll swoon again and get hot under the collar. I listened to this book in one sitting, I just didn’t want to put it down.

Gavin Kingsley, swoon! If you liked Gavin in book 1, you’re going to fall head over heels for him in this book. Not only does he start opening up, but he does some of the sweetest things ever. His love for Emma is obvious and he’s prepared to do what it takes to keep her safe. Emma Bell is one of my favourite female characters that I’ve read this year. She’s smart and sexy, and sassy. She doesn’t take any crap, even though she’s been through a bunch of it, she’s still not prepared to lay down and take it. I love that about her.
I felt so bad for Cooper, but it had to happen, it is Emma and Gavin’s story after all. I’m looking forward to reading about Cooper’s exploits in Torrid Little Affair. It was nice to see more of Quinn and I felt we got a better feel for him and how he just wants to keep his family together.

I like how this story has progressed from book 1. Gavin’s secret is finally out, and this book starts with them dealing with that and I liked that Emma didn’t just take it. She’s was her sassy self and couldn’t just fall back into a routine with Gavin, she needed time to adjust and although he struggled with it, he also gave it to her. I really think Gavin’s character progressed the most throughout this story when I think back to book 1 and the way he was and then the end of this book, wow, he really did develop as a person and that was wonderful to see. Watching someone that was broken get their HEA. The sex scenes are off the scale hot, I’m talking melt your earphones type temps. They were placed well within the story and made sense to it. I liked the intrigue with this book, although I had guessed early on who was responsible for all the horrible things happening, it didn’t take away from the story and it was fun watching the characters figure it out.

Megan Tusing and Zachary Webber were fantastic. I loved their dual narration of this book. Their voices complement each other really well. Each character they both performed was distinct and the inflections and tones they used to convey the emotions the characters were going through was spot on, and gave depth to the character and performance. Megan and Zachary were the perfect choice for Emma and Gavin; Megan has the best voice to convey the sweet and sassiness of Emma. And Zachary performs the commanding but vulnerable aspect of Gavin brilliantly. The production was done well with no issues.

Perfect end to Gavin and Emma's story

Book 2 in the Forbidden Desires series and the conclusion of Gavin and Emma’s story was the perfect end to their tale of woe. When it seemed like everything was going against him Gavin pulls out all the stops and finally mans up and claims what he wants, which is, of course Emma. Emma let's her doubts and insecurities take over, always double guessing her decisions, I was begging her in my head not to make any rash, stupid decisions. But of course, Gavin has a way with women, and now he has finally decided to let Emma in, he’s not going to let her go without a fight. With lots of sexy time, and a few twists and turns I did not see coming, I've got to say that yes, I loved this story, and yes, I'm definitely going to carry on and finish the series. I need to meet the girl who is going to break through Cooper’s now solid heart. The narration, just like book 2 was perfect. I love Zachary Webber.
