Wilhelm Gossec betreibt einen Trödelladen im Münchner Schlachthofviertel. Wer sich hier durchschlagen will, braucht ein dickes Fell und eine Portion Kaltschnäuzigkeit. Gossec hat beides. In "Sister Sox" heftet er sich auf die Spuren seiner Ziehtochter, die gerade als Sängerin reüssiert, nun aber plötzlich im Münchner Sommer verschwunden ist. Zur Wiesn-Zeit hat er einen korrupten Landtagsabgeordneten und eine börsennotierte Immobilienfirma an der Backe und bekommt den "München Blues". Im Advent legt sich Gossec mit einem Sternekoch an, der "Schampanninger" feilbietet, und wird in Bankraub, Kokainhandel und Spendenunterschlagung verwickelt. Zum Fasching schließlich verkleidet sich Gossec als Hitler - eine Bieridee, leider mit höchst problematischen Folgen, die Bronski in "Nackige Engel" erzählt.

Krimis, in denen alles steckt, was man sich von München erwartet - Sterneköche, Kokshändler, Grattler, Geld. Eine Reihe, die Bayerns Hauptstadt besser auf den Punkt bringt als so mancher Gesellschaftsroman.
