Hier sitze ich nun und weine und klage, dachte sie plötzlich, als ob ich nicht Gedanken und Kräfte hätte. O, ich mache meinem bedrohten Volk und meiner Königin wenig Ehre. Sterben muss ich doch, da will ich es wenigstens stolz und mutig tun und nichts unversucht lassen, die Meinen zu retten.
