Book 2 just didn't hit the spot for me. The realisation of how bad the hurt was and the grovel was good, but it felt like it stagnated about just that.

At times, it felt the role Sienna was playing was childish. While I understand the concept of getting even, I wanted more growth around it. I ended up disappointed with book 2 and just wanted it to end.

I read on Kindle and read along on Audible.

the story, had no real connection. like it was missing something, I had to skip chapters just because it was too much and not enough focus.
