About this listen

The villain isn’t supposed to be king.

I have a simple plan.

Finish Royal Elite School and get into my dream university.

One glance from the school’s king blows my plan up in smoke.

One glance and he suffocates my air.

One glance and he issues his death sentence.

His first words spiral my life into irreparable chaos.
“I will destroy you.”

Everything about Aiden King is black.

Black mind.

Black heart.

Black soul.

I should’ve remained quiet and endured the time I have left.

I didn’t.

I made the irrevocable mistake of provoking the king on his throne.

The devil in his hell.

And now, I’ll pay the price.

Being hated by Aiden King is dangerous.

But being wanted by him is lethal.

Deviant King is book one of Royal Elite Series. This is a dark high school bully romance, mature new adult, and contains dubious situations that some listeners might find offensive. Aiden isn’t the normal romance hero. In fact, he’s not a hero at all. So please don’t listen to this if any of that bothers you.

This book is part of a trilogy and is not a stand-alone.

Oh my goodness, what a cliff hanger, this author writes emotions so well on a page. My heart was bleeding for Elsa, every time he crushed her. Was amazing.
Narration was awesome.

Make sure you have access to the next book in the series because this book does end on a cliffhanger. This book is a story about a girl who has no memory of her life before a fire that changed her life forever. Being raised by her aunt and uncle, Elsa (the female protagonist) continues to live life without those memories, however, when her sleep is plagued by nightmares and her school life is no better, the main thing she has to focus on is making sure her heart doesn't give out on her. This book really leaves you wanting to read more, leaving you with questions all the way through and an unresolved romance at the end. I listened to this as an audiobook and loved the duo narration. In this book, you may be happy to find that the male characters are presented by Shane East and all the female characters are presented by Keira Stevens. I loved this bully romance and will definitely be reading the next book soon.

AMAZING

I've gone with a 3-star review for the first book in the trilogy, which is Aidan and Elsa's story, because there was only Elsa's POV. I really wanted Aidan's perspective and feel it would've rounded out this first book perfectly.

There is so much still to unravel with the plot, and I'm going straight to Steel Princess.

I read on Kindle and read along on Audible with good duet style audio.

Single POV made it feel like something was missing
