Tina und Stefan, zwei junge Radfahrer, suchen nach einem Unterschlupf, da ein Gewitter herannaht. Sie finden eine kleine Hütte, die einen Kilometer entfernt von Schloss Rasselfels liegt und zum Schloss zu gehören scheint. Dort machen sie Bekanntschaft mit Fridolin, dem kleinen Schlossgespenst. Da sie dieses aber nur bei Vollmond zu Gesicht bekommen würden, verabreden sie sich mit dem Gespenst für die darauffolgende Woche. Und endlich ist es so weit. Fridolin gibt sich zu erkennen und plant sogleich einen Ausflug zu dritt. Das Gespenst will mit den Kindern zum Schloss fliegen und hat dafür eigens spezielle Flugwesten mitgebracht. Die Kinder fliegen tatsächlich und die Abenteuer können beginnen!
