Dieses Buch ist für mich eines der besten im Bezug auf Gottvertauen und Nachfolge. Es hat mich oft innerlich ergriffen, wie Menschen auf eine geschenkte Bibel reagiert haben. Für sie war es etwas kostbares. Das lebendige Wort Gottes. Zu Tränen gerührt waren sie. ... Und dann stell ich mir die Frage: Und wie geht es uns dabei? Wie geht es mir? Sind wir übersättigt oder einfach nur abgestumpft? Warum löst das Lesen der Heiligen Schrift in uns nicht mehr das aus? Wir haben das Wort Gottes zur freien Verfolgung und könnten es ständig lesen .. aber wir tun es nicht. Was könnten wir alles mit Gott erleben, wenn wir uns nur darauf einlassen würden.

Mich hat das Buch zutiefst berührt und im Glauben an einen guten Gott und Vater gestärkt.
