Der Kriegsgott Guan Di hieß eigentlich Guan Yü. Zur Zeit, als der Aufruhr der gelben Turbane das Reich durchtobte, tat er sich mit zwei andern, denen er auf der Straße begegnet war, und die ebenso wie er von Vaterlandsliebe beseelt waren, zu einem Freundschaftsbunde zusammen.
