Sådan en kedelig kanin, tænker børnene, da de går for at sige godnat til deres nye kæledyr. Den ligger bare dér og snorker. Men da børnene går i seng, står kaninen op og forvandler den kedelige Snorkepy-by til noget af et festfyrværkeri: Abra-ca-da-bra-ka-kvik-kanin og op af kaninens hat vælter alverdens skøre ting: "Køer i kilt og fjummerfår,/kysselæber, sko med lår./ Op af hatten kom der masker, /karneval, kulørte flasker/ fyldt med sodavand og brus,/ sjove bobler, dansemus,/ og en tudsetrillebør/fuld af chokoladefrøer." Claus Riis har meget muntert tegnet til Mouritzens herlige nonsens-rim. Lige til at blive i godt humør af.
