Publisher's Summary

I made a deal with the devil. Now, he’s claimed me as his mate.

When my best friend goes missing in Las Vegas, there’s only one man I can turn to for help.

Lucas Ifer. Billionaire playboy. CEO of Abaddon Inc. King of Sin City. And...the devil himself?

Lucas - a.k.a. Lucifer - agrees to help me, but in exchange, he wants one thing: me.

He’s dark, dangerous, and wickedly handsome. Oh, and evil incarnate. I should say no, but I can’t. I’m that desperate.

But when you make a deal with the devil, there's no escaping it. Now, he owns my body for seven nights of sin. Even worse, he owns my soul for all eternity.

I’m Persephone being claimed by Hades, and I have no choice but to enter his underworld and become his dark queen.

Is there any light left in that black heart? Or, will his darkness consume me?

Reincarnated Love

Hannah went to Las Vegas in search of her missing best friend. She found so much more. A world of angels, fallen, demons, shifters, and fae. A life forgotten, an eternal love, a curse, and danger.

With a mix of Christianity, mythology, and a touch of the television show Lucifer, Elizabeth Briggs has created an entertaining story about star-crossed Lovers. I love the concept of reincarnated love. I would have preferred more backstory, more details of Hannah's past lives. I think it would have solidified the connection between Hannah and Lucifer. I loved Lucifer's week of seven sin dates. I'm not sure what it says about me that I am a bit jealous. I was not a fan of the side stories of The demon insurgence or the rescue and love story of Hannah's best friend. Instead, I would have preferred to spend more time with Lucifer's inner circle and a deep dive into Lucifer's world. It did end with a cliffhanger but that shouldn't have surprised anyone; it does say #1. I'm hoping book 2 goes even deeper into their history as Lucifer and Hannah face the future.

Lia Langola and Will M. Watt were largely successful in bringing Hannah and Lucifer's story to life. Lia was really good as Hannah but I didn't like her as Brandy. I also don't like how she scream-announces each chapter. Luckily, the negatives were minor and easily set aside for how good she was as Hannah. Will nailed Lucifer's sexiness and volatility.

Good book

Wonderful book that weaves together Greek mythology- in this case the Hades/Persephone story- and a modern take on Lucifer, then puts a different spin on it that makes it truly unique. The characters are complex and well done and the storyline keeps you interested.

Don't waste your money Maybe better in print

it has a start of maybe being a good storyline, but drops the ball big time, the female narrator is just ugh.... I really tried to finish, maybe if there was a different female narrator it may really bring this book alive but I doubt it

Love it!

Such a great book! I had previously read this book and when I saw that it was in audio, I had to buy it. It was even better with the narrators! It is about a human named Hannah who goes to Vegas to enlist the help of what she thinks is the king of Las Vegas only to find out he’s Lucifer and wants 7 nights with her. Lots of stuff happens, and I don’t want to spoil anything, but it’s very entertaining. What I liked about this story was a lot of other Lucifer books, the female character takes forever to actually believe what she’s being told. I like that we didn’t get a lot of denial with this one and she kinda goes along with it, which saves a lot of time. We know this is not reality and having the heroine dig in her heels that the man is not the real Lucifer saves us all the headache of having to listen to her inner ramblings that there’s no way he could be The Lucifer. All in all It was great and can’t wait to listen to the next one.

A well-written story from a good author

Demon King (Claimed By Lucifer, #1), my first read from author Elizabeth Briggs, an author I'd wanted to read since acquiring 14 books by her over the last 5 years. I got this book back in January & lost track of it until I learned there was a sequel. Enjoyable read over several genres. December seemed to be my month for new authors, January & February & then March continued the trend, and now April. “I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. I look forward to Devilish Mate (Claimed By Lucifer Book 2) as well as her other books. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Hannah and Lucas

I loved this book, I loved how the author managed to write a new story with a twist on the Hades and Persephone myth and then weave other prominent historical couples into this modern story. This is Hannah and Lucas, aka Lucifer's story, these two characters work well together although at first, I had my doubts, was Hannah going to be strong enough to deal with Lucas? But her character developed well during the book and I loved how their relationship developed and altered I also loved the chemistry between them. I'm now officially in love with the devil aka Lucas!

I really like the characters and how they developed, I loved how well Hannah seemed to cope with all she was discovering about herself. Experiencing each of the "Sins" was fun too.

The storyline is great, interesting with drama, action, palpable chemistry and surprises which kept me glued to my kindle, the characters are well-drawn and interesting too and although there is something of a cliffhanger at the end I still loved it and can't wait to see what this author give us next!

I had read this book but found I enjoyed the story so much more having it performed for me by Lia Langola, Will M. Watt two very talented performers.

My review is written voluntarily

I ❤ Lucifer 👹!!

Omg this was such a good audio book!! I enjoyed every moment of this book, although I do kinda wished that they had spent more time on the strange feelings Hannah has when she sees Kassiel for the first time...I mean I totally know where that is going and I can't wait for her to figure out that Kassiel is her son. In fact, I would have loved to see more characters from Seraphim Academy pop up in this... instead of just mentioned... but hopefully in the next book!!

So, this book is about Lucifers one true mate, who he has had to find and lose over and over thru the years due to a curse. Hannah goes to Lucifer for help finding her best friend who went missing (btw, I would love more of Brandy and Osmodeus' story!!!). He tells her that he will help her if she stays with him for 7 days she nights (one for each of the 7 deadly sins).

This audible book was amazing!!!!! I absolutely adored Elizabeth Briggs' Seraphim Academy books, and since this is a spin-off I knew I would love it too!! The narrators did an amazing job... although the male narrator had a bit of static or background noise, but it didn't affect the audio book at all.

I absolutely 💯% recommend this audible!!!

I recieved an ALC for my honest review.

Blown Away!

This is the first 'paranormal' romance I have read and I was blown away.

Hannah goes to Las Vegas in search of her missing friend, Brandy. After no success or help from police, she approaches the mafia boss and King of the strip, Lucas Ifer for help.

He agrees but on condition that he can do whatever he wants with her for 7 nights! She takes the deal and from here on in, it is excitement all the way!

I just loved the romance between Hannah and the Devil and I have to confess, I wouldn't mind having a fling with him either!

This is the first book of three and I can't wait to read the next instalment.

The narration was excellent but it could have been narrated by Lia all on her own!

The characters were fabulous especially Lucifer and Hannah and I can’t wait for the next book. Loved the dual narration I haven’t listened to anything by Will before but he was great and Kia is always fab.
