About this listen
The end is near, I can feel it in my bones.
Secrets are practically seeping from the seams of this fabricated society.
Deceiving you with the pretty allure of all that is promised.
Descending you into the inky black reality of this world’s past, present and future.
If we can all survive, what kind of future awaits us. Forever servants to the tyrants that have ruled Salem for over three hundred years?
What if the history books got it wrong, though?
What if the past isn’t what it seems?
What if it can help us rewrite the future?
The casket is closing, we’re running out of time.
No matter which way this goes, it’s going to be someone’s Demise.

I struggled the whole way through the series with lack of strength in the storyline.
We have been told this girl and her men are having to be super careful with their relationships due to the secret society having eyes everywhere….. these people are having sex out in the open willy nilly!
Now I know I DNF this book with 4 hours to go and that may come up in the last few hours of the book but to be honest it’s all last minute and I’ve lost any interest in that part of the storyline.
Now onto her men becoming a part of the society, there is significant traumatic events for her men there is one I just couldn’t get past and I think that is where my interest ended. I couldn’t listen to that character any longer.
The book is full of smut, I am a smut lover! There is super smut, I love super smut. However, I got bored when a sex scene was put in just for the hell of it and it didn’t add anything to the storyline. It was boring and repetitive. I feel like the author decided to just try and put every sexual scene that popped into her head just because.
If you are after a book with super smut and a bit of a storyline thrown in, then this is the book for you.
I couldn’t finish this book
