About this listen
Della Testa Rossa was an incredible horse with more heart than could ever be imagined. Everyone loved to watch her barrel race and compete throughout the State of Alaska. That is, until navicular disease seized her hooves and sent her to an early retirement. Despite her hooves being overtaken by pain, her spirit never broke. She always took care of me and people ask often about our bond. This is her story. This book combines diary style writing with clinical veterinary care to help the listener truly understand the horse Rosa was as well as to gain knowledge of navicular disease.
