imagine my suprise when I met a character from Susan Stoker's world. I had no idea. it was pretty Awesome. I should have played closer attention to the book cover...there's Susan's Ace on there.
first time listening to this author and I was impressed. the pace was good, the steam was there and the intricacies of the plotline was Awesome. This mystery kept me guessing and I didn't connect the dots till it was explained in the book.
there was a lovely subplot of romance and the opening scenes definitely kept me listening.
I'm so enjoying this series, especially with the characters appearing from Susan's world.
I see the narration goes to duo after this book and I think it's going to add to the tone of the story.
I still love Virginia Rose, I've listened to her in numerous books. and she does a great job.
looking forward to the rest.
