Great story, until the evangelism, then it lost me. It’s a biography, so that’s the man’s story, but seemed a bit disjointed.

Initially I was reluctant to commit to listening to “DEEP UNDERCOVER” by Jack Barsky. I was so glad I did. Not only is it one of the most powerful books I’ve been privileged to listen to but also it was from the Plus library price included with membership. I cannot recommend highly enough how Brilliant I found this book. Mixed reviews but for me the book is stunning. Often literally on the edge of my seat when he recalled close calls with the KGB.. Absolutely a worthwhile Listen. Cliff.

This is a fascinating story about a man who was groomed to be a Soviet spy and planted in the USA. I t is incredible the training that he undertook before moving overseas and how hard he worked for the cause of communism that he believed in. Also amazing was the transformation that happened while in the US. and the relationships he made and had to abandon. Great story.
