Publisher's Summary

Declan Crenshaw went from orphan, to Special Forces soldier, to the CIA’s golden child. Life was perfect—almost. He shouldn’t have pushed his luck and simply enjoyed the bounty fate had given him—a beautiful wife, sweet baby girl, and more love than he ever dreamed he’d know. Until a threat he never saw coming obliterated his world. His wife and child murdered. His soul shattered, he was left hollow. With his morality stripped away, he became the perfect black-ops mercenary—soulless.

Autumn Pierce had been normal, happy, average. Until she was kidnapped and sold into the world of sex trafficking. Even rescued, she was forever changed. Gone was the smiling teenager and in her place emerged a woman hell-bent on revenge. Years later, Autumn remains a deadly mercenary in a never-ending game of chess. It’s kill or be killed—which isn’t an issue for a woman who’s already dead inside.

With pasts that mirror each other’s, Declan and Autumn have more than defeating a common enemy on the line. Two broken souls with one last chance to be whole.

just perfect

my most favourite story of Riley's is Redeeming Violet and after listening to the Gemini group, and the other members of gold team ( while waiting for audible to get to the last member) ...I ecstatically get violets brother Declan.
it was simply brilliant. 2 broken wonders that journeyed a helluva way. wonderfully written Riley.
the story took us overseas, wrenched our hearts out with the broken pieces of H and h's lives, then Riley found them through words and pieced them back together with a lot of healing along the way. I had concerns while I was reading Max and Kyle as I knew it was going to be an intricate storyline for Declan but then after Thaddeus and Emerson's book..oh boy I knew it was going to get really tricky, especially how the ending was going to be written and what they were going to do. just loved this story.
and then....because Riley and Susan stoker are such good mates....now I have to go and find Avery!!! lol 😆
regarding the narrator's...
Maxine is one of the best for being able to successfully pitch her voice to a male tone..and it doesn't detract a thing. I can't thank her enough.
and Lee you use your tones so well for the boys, your simply brilliant. in fact the whole production was awesome.
I've been told by Riley's crew that we're getting more of her books coming to audible...can't wait.
