This series is a must read. The characters are part of me now, I always like to see how they are going. Great story with a very surprise ending. Loved it. I also love the authors notes at the end. Thanks David

I’ve gotten to know DCI Grimm and his team in the Yorkshire Dales. Over the series it’s been a pleasure getting to know them. The writing in these thrillers is wonderful; the characters, the stories…. They often keep you guessing as to the villain and the banter between the main protagonists is friendly, funny and when necessary, professional.
I recommend the whole series (I’m definitely reading on). The stories are exciting, the characters are beautifully drawn and the Yorkshire Dales are a magnificent backdrop - more than a backdrop they are another character.
