A vicious psychopath wants ultimate revenge against Savich, but first, she wants to destroy what he loves most - his family.

Critic Reviews

"As this thriller weaves a number of subplots to great effect, narrators Tim Campbell and Hillary Huber relay the viewpoints of Savich and Sherlock, respectively.… Both narrators are equally strong, with superb timing and pacing, which, along with strong characterizations of the wide cast, keeps listeners engaged. The result is an exciting listen for both longtime fans and those new to the series." AudioFile Magazine

Where is Rodman and Costanzo?

It is so important to audio readers to keep the same narrators in a book series. Hope Ms. Coulter realizes this. I am sure Mr Campbell and Ms Huber would fit well in a new book series or standalone book. They were not the right fit for Savage and Sherlock. I am so disappointed not to have Renee Rodman and Paul Costanzo back. It would have made the book pop.

Disappointing

The FBI thriller series has been one of my favoriites since I discovered it. This one has difficulty with the narrators. I'm almost tempted to buy the actual book and have someone read it to me because I had so much trouble following the narrators. Can this one be reissued with new narrrators?

A good book

I have read all of Catherine Coulter’s FBI series. I enjoy the books immensely. However, with this book, I figured out two of the big reveals well in advance. Still an excellent book. The performance was okay. Sometimes it was difficult to tell which character was supposed to be speaking. They did not vary the voices very well. I like Renee Raudman and MacLeod Andrews (I think that is correct.) much, much better.

narrrators are not the best I've heard

Huber's voice is rather nasal. Campbell's cadence is annoyingly clipped. Not the best audiobook performance.

Skip this book

I have read all of the FBI books by Catherine coulter. This was the most boring, poorly read in the series. Almost as if it was written by a 12 year old ghost writer

No plot

This story had too many characters and rambled around. It didn’t have a clear ending

I DO ENJOY A GOOD COULTER BOOK

AND THIS ONE DID NOT DISAPPOINT, THOUGH IT DID LEAVE A LOT OF LOOSE THREADS I DO HOPE WILL BE WRAPPED UP IN THE NEXT BOOK. I WOULD LIKE MORE DILLON AND SHERLOCK TIME, TOO, BUT THIS IS STILL A WINNER.

it was an ok read.

I didn't care for the male voices, they were to clipped and too similar for all of the male characters. Overall the story was alright.

Too many subplots

There was too many subplots. I wonder if Catherine wrote an outline and someone else the book. Did she get paid by the word? I have been reading the series since "The Cove" . This is the worse book of hers that I have read
